QOHDD Connect FAQ
Questions Before You Sign Up
Clear answers about what QOHDD Connect is, who it is for, how the phone line works, how pricing works, and what customers should understand before creating an account.
What is QOHDD Connect?
QOHDD Connect is a phone-based communication and continuity platform built around ATLIS, a relational intelligence companion. It gives families, advocates, and support networks a dedicated QOHDD Connect phone number that a caller can use to speak with ATLIS by phone.
The purpose of QOHDD Connect is to help conversations become more useful over time. Instead of every call starting from zero, conversations can create continuity through transcripts, summaries, structured context, and recurring themes.
How do you pronounce QOHDD?
QOHDD is pronounced “code.” It stands for Quotients of Heightened Determination and Discipline.
What is ATLIS?
ATLIS is the intelligence layer inside QOHDD Connect. It helps callers talk through thoughts, needs, goals, questions, and next steps while helping preserve useful context across conversations.
ATLIS is not a replacement for family, legal counsel, medical care, therapy, or human advocacy. It is a support intelligence layer designed to help conversations become more organised, more continuous, and easier to build on.
Who is QOHDD Connect for?
QOHDD Connect is for families, advocates, support networks, and organisations that want a stronger way to support someone through distance, pressure, complexity, incarceration, reentry, limited digital access, or fragmented communication.
It is especially useful when ordinary communication is hard to organise, important details are easy to lose, or future support needs to build from prior conversations.
Who creates the account?
The account holder creates and manages the QOHDD Connect account. The account holder chooses the access level, purchases prepaid minutes, manages billing, and controls account settings.
The caller does not need to manage the account interface. The caller uses the assigned QOHDD Connect phone number to speak with ATLIS.
Does the caller need to use an app?
No. QOHDD Connect is designed around voice-first access. The caller can use the assigned QOHDD Connect phone number and speak with ATLIS by phone.
The account holder may use the account interface to manage the subscription, minutes, account details, and available features.
Is QOHDD Connect a prison phone company?
No. QOHDD Connect is not a prison phone company and does not replace facility-approved phone systems. QOHDD Connect provides a dedicated phone-based connection to ATLIS for communication, continuity, and support.
The account holder is responsible for using the service only in ways that comply with applicable rules, laws, facility requirements, and QOHDD Connect terms.
What makes QOHDD Connect different from a normal phone call?
A normal call ends when the call ends. Details may be forgotten, scattered, or difficult to organise later.
QOHDD Connect is built around continuity. Conversations can be transcribed, summarised, structured, and carried forward so future support can build from prior context rather than starting over every time.
What are the monthly plans?
QOHDD Connect currently offers two monthly access levels:
- Connect — $10/month: basic access to a dedicated QOHDD Connect phone number.
- Unleashed — $25/month: transcript access, insights, deeper visibility, expanded continuity features, and access to future platform developments as they are released.
Monthly access fees and prepaid calling minutes are separate.
Are calling minutes included in the monthly subscription?
Calling minutes are purchased separately as prepaid minute bundles. Calls draw down from the available prepaid minute balance.
QOHDD Connect does not use standard post-paid usage. Minutes must be purchased in advance.
What is required at signup?
At signup, each account must purchase the required 1,000-minute starter bundle for $135.
This starter bundle creates the account’s initial prepaid calling balance.
What additional minute bundles are available?
After signup, customers may purchase additional prepaid minute bundles:
- 100 additional minutes — $15: baseline rate.
- 1,000 additional minutes — $135: approximately 10% better value.
- 5,000 additional minutes — $500: Unleashed only, approximately 33.3% better value.
The 5,000-minute bundle is available only to Unleashed customers.
What happens when prepaid minutes run low?
Calls draw down from the available prepaid minute balance. Customers are responsible for maintaining enough prepaid minutes for continued use of the service.
If the prepaid minute balance becomes too low, service availability may be limited until additional minutes are purchased.
What does Unleashed include that Connect does not?
Unleashed is designed for customers who want deeper visibility and stronger continuity. It includes transcript access, conversation insights, expanded continuity features, and access to new future platform developments as they are released.
Unleashed also gives access to the 5,000-minute prepaid bundle.
Are conversations transcribed or stored?
QOHDD Connect is built around transcript-backed continuity. Conversations with ATLIS may be transcribed, logged, summarised, processed, securely stored, and retained as part of the service.
This applies even when the final caller is not the account holder and interacts only by phone.
What is the account holder responsible for explaining to the caller?
The account holder is responsible for making any person they share a QOHDD Connect line with aware that communications with ATLIS may be transcribed and securely stored.
The account holder is also responsible for using the service only in accordance with applicable rules, laws, policies, and QOHDD Connect terms.
How long does QOHDD retain service data?
Transcripts, call logs, metadata, summaries, continuity records, and related service records may be retained by QOHDD LLC for continuity, safety, service operation, product improvement, research, advocacy, compliance, and business purposes, subject to applicable law.
Policy, privacy, data-retention, and legal questions should be sent to legal@qohdd.com.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Customers may cancel their QOHDD Connect subscription at any time through the account interface or by contacting support@qohdd.com.
Cancellation stops future subscription renewals but does not automatically refund prior subscription charges, used minutes, transfer fees, or balances below the required account reserve.
Are unused minutes refundable if I cancel?
If a customer cancels with an eligible unused balance above the reserve threshold, QOHDD may provide a partial refund according to the published Billing and Refund Policy.
No refund is available where service is suspended or terminated for prohibited conduct, misuse, policy evasion, dangerous communications, unauthorized sharing, or violation of QOHDD Connect terms.
